OUR CLUB

Oxford University Kendo Club is open to new members of all levels, including beginners.

Neither previous experience with martial arts or great level of fitness is required for beginners, nor is equipment necessary to start.

There are numerous opportunities to compete with the club, including the UniTaikai & the Oxford Cup in February, the varsity match against Cambridge in March, the London Cup in May, the Master Taikai & the British Open in June, and Mumeishi 3s in November, and many other competitions around the country. We also regularly host joint practices with other UK universities and student visitors aboard.
